For our eleventh release we have no other than Esperanza’s own Jorge
Savoretti. After making some collabs for the label, he’s finally
delivering his expected solo ep. For this one, he mixed a wide variety of
soundscapes and influences with precise coherence developing his trademark
forward thinking sound even further. There are lots of words used to
describe tracks but for this baby is really hard to find ones accurate
enough, maybe some hints would be: futuristic, intricate, martian, tribal.
Once again, Jorge delivers the goodies!

Next up on Claque Musique is Criss aka The Rain, a young italian producer devoted to the most unusual and weird side of dancefloor oriented music! Mortecerta is great introduction to a producer who is sure to feature in the following years. Embracing the abstract culture and looking for the “non perfection”, Criss delivers two tracks trying to combine totally contrasting and tormented emotions and attitudes. This latest outing ends with a stunning reinterpretation from the eclectic Touane giving the original a more organic and layered style.

Dario Zenker / Sam und Er + Womde! [VA019]
Munichs Dario Zenker joins Vakant after sprinkling his magic chuga chuga dust on some of the worlds gourmet minimal labels. Darios thick kink finds a natural home here in aforementioned bus bumping and bouncing all the kids wherever they need to go. A side Sam und Er goes on that first forest camp trip, giddy and exciting. Its all about the ride to the spot: happy expectations and the psych-up. Scattered claps and fun synths combine to make something uplifting with friendly mystery. Definitely forest rave.

Donor and Truss formed a transatlantic duo to deliver some delightful late night extravaganza. NYC and London are always a good match. Neoliberalism insanity, music, whatever…
Throw in some fine french spice from the Marsellaise she-man Sarah Goldfrab and you’ve got a bucket full of dancefloor enlightment. We packed the vinly to the brim and start this year with a foursome. First up ist ‘Foreseen’ – a track that creeps up from down below to evolve into a swirling stomper with all those little cuts that make it fun to follow. ‘Forethought’ starts with a dry groove to then throw a trippy ensemble of sounds and melody at you. They shake hands to form a kind of maniac symbioses which makes the heart and soul of the track. ‘Unseen’ is the third runner up and thoroughbred atmospheric piece of music that is based on a ever-evolving soundscapes twisting through the space. Grounded by a some nicely placed beats it barely keeps you from lifting off. Spooky… To finalize this Quadroople Whopper is a rework of ‘Foreseen’ by Sarah Goldfarb. He starts with a deeper feel and works on the hypnotic potentials of the original. In a similar mindset but a different color this remix rounds up the ep and adds that extra layer. Jeff Samuel is back on Frankie Rec with a surprising 3 tracker EP titled Gurd Em EP on the A side the eponym track a1Gurd Em create an original weird atmosphere mixing hypnotic sounds and bass voice with the groovy bassline and incisive drums… on the b side b1 Dementia is a brilliant minimal tech house piece full of subtle bleeps and mental sweet melodies with jeff typical sense of groove and on b2 Spic and Span more funky is full of quircky sounds & groovy bassline… ingredients of a freaky tune!
